Yeah, so this is the last part of Todai-ji Temple series…
We continued our field trip with a view of the Buddhist Golden Spiral statue in Nara Park:

And this is a picture of a Shinto Temple Gate:

Just follow me so we can reach Nigatsu-do:

According to Wikipedia, Nigatsu-do is one of the important structures of Tōdai-ji Temple. It is located to the east of the Great Buddha Hall, on the hillside of Mount Wakakusa. It includes several other buildings in addition to the specific hall named Nigatsu-dō, thus comprising its own sub-complex within Tōdai-ji Temple.
Turn your back, and here is what we can see:

Take some more steps upstairs:

Here is what it looks like when we reach the highest point – Nigatsu-do Hall:

Plus a panorama of the area from the balcony of the Nigatsu-do Hall:

Actually, I did forget to take picture of the hall and the bell inside. We were allowed to ring the bell, and I did. It was so great!
Bonus: Pictures from Nara Park – a wonderful place for pre-wedding photoshoot:
Before I end the post, I have to say that the tour guides are so friendly and considerate. They said sorry in advance for their English, but we thought it’s ok (because they aren’t native speakers). They are elderly people and somehow reminded me of my grandparents at home. The elder guide in my group shared some small stories about her life and job, which I deemed it was so open-minded of her. I wish they will certainly stay healthy and happy!
