The trip goes on…
The scenery outside my window was tremendously breathtaking!!
What a pity when my phone camera couldn’t capture all the things that my eyes witnessed. Outstanding from pitch black background was the light. And it looked like millions stars twinkling in the dark sky.
I struggled in vain to stay awake all the long journey because I was too exhausted. When I got up, it was almost 5 AM, what a pity though.
Here’s some pictures taken at dawn through the window:
Can you spot the difference? It’s how the Sun rises, literally.
And there’s a salient fact for everyone: KIX (Kansai International Airport) is located on an artificial island. Sound interesting? KIX is the place where we landed.
This is the first photo I took right after landing:

Hello Mario 😊

I almost forgot to tell you that the time when I arrived there was in summer, and it was burning hot in Vietnam. Nevertheless, I felt freezing cold right after get out of the aircraft. OMG! There was a huge difference in temperatures between 2 countries!
We immediately contacted our families to inform our safe arrival at the airport. Afterwards, we walked out to buy limousine bus tickets from a machine.
Initially, I was deeply impressed by the staff working here. People at their age in my country normally get retired and stay home, but they keep working. What is more surprising is they even take on manual labors like carrying much heavy suitcases. Amazing!
More importantly, they were super friendly and helpful! Even though we didn’t ask for help when dealing with the selling ticket machine which was full of Japanese characters, they were still willing to offer their assistance. Woww! I felt like home! And I think the phrase that I used most frequently during my trip to Japan last year was “Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasu!” (どうもありがとうございます – Thank you very much).
So this was the first thing that I spent my Yen (Japanese money) on:

Alright, it’s time to take the limo bus to meet Ms. Kimiko Kurio~~
Weary as I was, I managed to take some pictures along the way:

Nara, I’m coming!!
