Inspiration

Art can be inspired by everything…

I remember in an article that I cannot recollect where it comes from, Namjoon once said that BTS members are able to make music from everyday stuff, and it’s so wonderful.

Thanks to the well-known septet, I myself can create some pieces of music even when I’m supposed to be a teacher of English in the next few years! The brain is rational, and the heart is emotional. The combination of those two power is the key to success.

This morning, I bumped into a Facebook post showing a video that Namjoon bought a poetry book at Incheon International Airport as a credit for some verses translated into Vietnamese. The book he bought was “On which star we are” by Jeong Ho Seung.

“Don’t take your own life

The stars don’t cry over you

Even when there’s nowhere for you apart from hell

Don’t take your own life

Even when the angles sometimes fall down

The hands of those who commit suicide

Even when the stars

At times cannot follow you.”

— The stars not crying —

After reading the post and watching the video, I found another inspiration in life: create poems in the English language with the rules of 6-8 syllables like those in Vietnamese. So hard a mission that I feel way too excited. I want to take my time and get the traditional type of poem of my country to reach a brand new era: Vietnamese traditional poem mixed with a foreign language!

Don’t talk too much, just do it!
